Since my appointment in 2016, I have been dedicated to develop the paediatric gynaecology service for Merseyside and Cheshire. Across the 2 Trusts we now have 2 consultants, 2 nurses and a clinical health psychologist. I have a special interest in congenital gynaecological anomalies, and am passionate about providing young girls and women with the specialist holistic multi-disciplinary management required for these rare conditions. I have excellent links to the wider multidisciplinary teams and have recently set up a specialist adult Turner Syndrome Clinic at LWH. We transition girls/young women from Alder Hey to Liverpool Women's for ongoing long term care if required. I have initiated a self-referral process for women with FGM who have long term sequelae or wish to have deinfibulation. I thoroughly enjoy my job and am passionate about providing excellent care for girls and young women with gynaecological conditions.
