Maternity Services currently seeing high levels of activity

Due to current high levels of activity at Liverpool Women’s, we kindly ask pregnant women who are due to attend the hospital, may need to in the next 24 hours, or who may have any other concerns, to call MAU on 0151 702 4413 or via the main switchboard on 0151 708 9988 in the first instance and a clinical assessment will be discussed to determine their need for admission.

Ruben Trochez trained in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the South West of England with a further 3 year Subspecialist training in Urogynaecology in Plymouth and Bristol. He has published in several aspects of Urogynaecology in peer-reviewed journals and Urogynaecology books; and presented his Research in National and International conferences. He is a Specialist Advisor for the Interventional Procedures Programme in Urogynaecology from NICE and is a member of the General and the Guidelines Committees of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG)

Giving women the best possible clinical care is the main aim of my daily work. I strive to provide patients with the level of service that I would like for myself or my family. I involve patients in the decisions regarding their healthcare and provide them with the information required for them to make informed choices.
