Hallmark Hotel
Many businesses or organised social activities choose a charity to be their “Charity of the Year” This is a great opportunity for Liverpool Women’s to work with you and for you to learn about all the amazing work that goes on within the hospital.
This year we are very proud to announce that two Hallmark Hotels have chosen Liverpool Women’s Charity of the Year as its’ charity for the next 12 months.
The charity will be working closely with Becky and Sarah from Hallmark Liverpool Inn (formerly Feathers) on Mount Pleasant and Hallmark Liverpool South (formerly the Alicia) in Sefton Park
Becky said "Hallmark Hotel Liverpool South and Hallmark Liverpool Inn are delighted to announce their chosen charity for the year ahead as the Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Charitable Trust. Chosen for the constant support and care it provides that benefits locals and the community as a whole, at some point, it will have been there for many members of our staff or someone close to them at some time in their lives."
We would like to show our appreciation by donating £1 for every person that books a Christmas event at either of our Hallmark Hotel Liverpool venues, towards further funding the support and care it gives to patients and their families alongside research, staff welfare initiatives and greater access to training and development opportunities and continue all the fantastic work that they do.
Scouse Bird Problems
Following a very successful partnership last year with Scouse Bird Problems, we were delighted when the company announced that we were again their chosen charity for 2017.
Barclays
We continue to be grateful to the staff of Barclays, who have been supporting Liverpool Women’s Charity for the last 7 years. Staff volunteer to attend our fundraising events to help raise money and then Barclays matched what they raise up to £1,000 per volunteer.
Merseyrail
In February 2017 we ended a fantastic 12 month partnership with Merseyrail.
Over the 12 months we undertook bucket collections at many events such as the Grand National, Chester Races and Southport Flower Show. Merseyrail also hosted a Halloween Ball and displayed collection tins in all their stations. They also undertook numerous fundraising events to raise money for different areas of the hospital and we were delighted to be able to announce that the final figure raised by Merseyrail over the year was a staggering £32,000!!
