ADVICE FOR PATIENTS: Industrial action 6th & 7th February 2023

The Royal College of Nursing is scheduled to take industrial action on the 6th & 7th February 2023. The GMB Union is also taking industrial action on the 7th February 2023.

Unless advised otherwise, please continue to attend the hospital as normal. You do not need to contact the Trust. Anyone whose appointments or care may be impacted will be contacted directly by the hospital.

 

Born at Liverpool Women’s (or working here) – Proud to Serve my Country

As part of Armed Forces week the Trust would like to invite Armed Forces Personnel who were born at Liverpool Women’s (past or present) to a lunch on Wednesday 22 June 2022 at 12 noon in the Blair Bell at the Liverpool Women's Hospital, Crown Street.

This includes if you were born at:

  • Mill Road
  • Oxford Street
  • Fazakerley
  • The Old Women’s  - as they all make up are current Trust that is Liverpool Women’s.

The invite is open to our staff but also to anyone who is connected to Liverpool Women’s which includes, OCS, Volunteers and Patients.

If you are serving personnel:

  • Veterans
  • Reservists
  • Spouse/partner of serving personnel
  • Parents of serving personnel

Please RSVP to Anne Bridson anne.bridson@lwh.nhs.uk by 17th June 2022, please include your full name, the hospital you was born at and what you identify as from the Serving Personnel list above.
