Patient Research Experiences

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) each year asks thousands of people who have taken part in health research to feedback on their experiences, so Trusts can continue to improve and make taking part in research a more stress-free and comfortable experience.

Below are some patient quotes taken from our recent Patient Research Experience Survey 18/19:

"Communication from research staff was excellent and I felt that I was being well looked after. I was also made to feel like my participation was valuable".

"I didn't complete the study to it's entirety due to personal reasons but the time I spent during the study was positive and I was always well informed of the processes and procedure".

"I was reassured throughout and i knew i could contact them with any questions".

"It was very easy to take part and the research nurse was very considerate and came to visit me after my operation".

"Thank you to all the ladies and gentlemen nhs staff who looked after me".

"The research nurse was friendly.Gave me all the info and kept me informed".
