Research targets

Clinical research is vital for improving the health of all our patients, both adults and babies, and for the development of new and improved treatments and medications.

As part of our commitment, Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust performance targets for initiating and delivering research are now available to download.

Performance in initiating - performance on initiating for all interventional research

Performance in delivering - performance on delivery of research for all commercial interventional studies that have opened in the trust in the last 12 months.

Please click here to view the Trusts performance for the past 12 months.

The performance is measured against 3 targets:

15 days from SSI submission to Trust Approval
70 days from SSI submission to 1st patient recruited in the trust
Number of studies that complete target recruitment prior to study recruitment closure
