Community midwife (week 30)

I don't know what it is about our doctors' waiting room but it seems the second I sit down Little One gets all excited. This isn't the first time she has done this. It is like she knows that she is about to go under the spotlight or something.

Today my usual midwife was joined by a student who did most of the checks and measurements. Little One (who was still all excited from being in the waiting room) was going crazy. The moment I presented my bump for examination she gave a big "Alien" style kick and the second the monitor went on gave a good strong heart beat.

The student had a feel around. Little One's head is down and free which, I'm told, is all good at this time. We had the usual discussion about how Little One had been behaving herself and the obligatory pee test was done (ah the glamour) and told that everything was going according to plan (Go Little One!)
