  • Formula Feeding

    If you choose to bottle feed your baby you will need to bring ready-made formula into hospital from 21st August 2017. As a safety aspect and to reduce infection we will no longer be able to store opened bottles of formula in a fridge.

    Join us at the Cottons Hotel and Spa, Knutsford on Sunday 17th September 2017. The Open Day will start at 1pm, followed by Afternoon Tea with previous patients at 3pm. Just register your place for either event.

  • Elsie’s Journey- Courageous couple to travel 1,000 miles by horse and cart in memory of their 1 month old daughter

    Liverpool Women’s fundraisers Phil and Emily are planning to travel 1,000 miles in a handmade horse-drawn cart from Lancashire to the South of France in memory of their daughter, Elsie.

  • £1.8m funding for major new study into management of bleeding after childbirth

    Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with the University of Liverpool has been awarded £1.8m funding from the UK National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) to run a large study into the drug treatment of bleeding after childbirth (also called postpartum haemorrhage or PPH).

  • First North West Baby Loss Conference

    Liverpool Women’s Hospital hosted its first North West Baby Loss Conference which seen over 100 guests in attendance, including Midwives, Neonatal Nurses, Doctors, counselling and bereavement services.
