Work Experience Placements Scheduled through Schools

Due to high demand for work experience placements at Liverpool Women’s Hospital and following a review the process has now changed.

If you would like to undertake a work experience placement at the hospital please liaise directly with your school who will make contact with the Trust.

All placements requests will only be dealt with via the school and NOT through individual requests.

All work experience placements will take place during term time and there will be no availability during school holidays.

Any requests from medics are classed as clinical attachments and the decision has been taken not to accept these requests as we no longer have the capacity in the Trust to accommodate additional placements in the clinical areas.

Student, Nurse or Midwife

If you are a student nurse or midwife interested in requesting an observational elective placement at LWH, please email the below contacts with the following information from your university email address;

  • programme and year of study
  • reason for requesting placement at LWH
  • areas of interest within LWH for placement (approx 3)
  • dates of elective placement
