Policies & assessments

We take our legal obligations around Equality & Human Rights very seriously. Our detailed policy and other policy documents outline our approach to this important area of responsibility and highlight how we go beyond standard compliance.

Assessing impact

As well as our policy we undertake Equality Impact Assessments, which are fundamental to ensuring equality is at the heart of everything we do. The completion of these assessments allows the Trust to assess both the likely and the actual effect the Trust’s functions, services, policies, procedures and practices may have on service users or staff.

Committee meetings

The Trust’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee meets bi-monthly to review policy and ensure this agenda and all associated action plans are monitored and progressed. Minutes from these meetings are available along with any associated actions from the meeting.
