Apologies for the lack of blogs over recent weeks, we have been extremely busy preparing for our Care Quality Commission announced inspection. A massive thank you to all of our staff who met with inspectors, and an even bigger thank you to our patients who gave feedback on the care they had received.
We do not anticipate receiving the report from the inspectors until April, but will share it with you when it is approved for publication by the CQC.
February is always an exciting time of year as it marks the countdown to our annual staff awards evening, our Dedicated to Excellence Awards. This year this event will take place on 2nd April and yet again I anticipate being filled with pride as we celebrate the amazing achievements of staff and teams from across our services. Once again, we're asking our patients to help us identify our shining stars by asking them to nominate those individuals and teams who have provided extra special care to them in the last 12 months. Last year saw Annmaria Ellard, Jo Lumsden and Christine Caddick win out in this category after receiving exceptional nominations from former patients, if there's someone that you'd like to see celebrated then please fill in our electronic nomination form here.
