Women's Trust looking for new directors

Liverpool Women's is looking to recruit two new leaders to its Board of Directors and is offering interested applicants the chance to find out more.

Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust, which provides specialist health services to women and their families across the North West, is seeking to appoint two new Non-Executive Directors to its Board and is inviting potential candidates to learn about the role at two events next week.

Edna Robinson, Chair of Liverpool Women's, said: "These opportunities come at an exciting and challenging time in our evolution as we enter a period of strategic transition in a changing NHS landscape. The roles require proven leaders who will bring innovation, ambition and challenge. We are particularly keen to hear from leaders with extensive business connections and strategic marketing insight in Liverpool and also from confident, ambitious clinical leaders, locally or nationally, who will bring rigour to complex decision making and risk management. For both  positions we are seeking leaders who share our values and bring the drive to achieve our vision to be the recognised leader in healthcare for women, babies and their families."

Two informal 'find out more' events are being held next week, for potential candidates to learn a little more about the Non-Executive Director role and the Trust.  These 'find out more' sessions are being held in the Atrium at Liverpool Women’s Hospital on Monday 8th December from 1400 – 1500 and Thursday 11th December from 1800 – 1900.

Anyone interested in the role can call Emma Pickup on 0113 205 6076 for an initial discussion or visit www.LiverpoolWomensAppointments.com.
