- I am from Liverpool and I attended medical school here. After training in several hospitals, some local and others more distant, I was appointed as a consultant in Liverpool Women’s Hospital in 2015.
I now work as one of a team of five surgeons offering subspecialist level care to women with gynaecological cancer in the Mersey region and the Isle of Man. Since my appointment I have worked to develop the screening and prophylactic surgery offered to women with a genetic predisposition to gynaecological cancer. I have recently taken on the challenge of developing my skills in robotic surgery and hope to be able to expand our surgical services by embracing this new technology.
