She has a Diploma in Fetal Medicine with Professor Nicolaides at Harris Birthright Research Centre for Fetal Medicine, where she trained to scan pregnant women, diagnose and where possible treat problems in their unborn babies. She then completed her subspecialist training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ where she gained competency in looking after women with complex medical problems with Professor Catherine Nelson-Piercy. She has worked actively on various medical leadership programmes and has keen research interests in her subspecialty. She has published on both medical problems – like cardiac disease and sickle cell disease in pregnancy as well as fetal problems. Her research thesis was based on fat-tissue biomarkers in women with insulin resistance to predict adverse pregnancy complications.

Her commitment is to provide holistic care for a healthy baby and a healthy mum.
