BBC Two ‘Hospital’ filming taking place at Liverpool Women’s during October – November
Label1, an independent TV production company, is working with Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust, as well as other NHS Trusts across Liverpool, to produce the fourth series of the critically acclaimed BBC Two documentary series ‘Hospital’.
The series unveils the incredible work of the NHS and the day-to-day decision-making of those who work within the Trust, the challenges and pressures they face and the patients they care for.
Label1 will be filming the work of the staff at Liverpool Women’s during a seven-week period which starts on Monday 8th October to the end of November. The series is due to be transmitted in 2019.
In particular, we would like any pregnant women, whose due date falls between the seven-week filming period, to be aware of the filming. Where possible, the Trust will be attempting to contact individual patients who have scheduled appointments. Where this is not possible, we would like to ask for you to be aware from messages such as this, as well as notices that will be in place across the hospital before and during filming.
Patients and families being treated within Maternity, Gynaecology and the Neonatal Unit during this time may see a small camera crew and a member of the team may approach you to give you some more information. Of course, you and your relatives are under absolutely no obligation to take part and your decision will have no impact on your care or treatment.
