As you know Liverpool Women’s opened nearly 25 years ago in 1995 and a lot has changed since then. So what will our hospitals be like in 2043?
We are inviting children aged 4 - 15 across Merseyside and the surrounding area to take part in an art competition.
Along with many other healthcare providers, this year we have been looking back to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS and how since 1948 its rich history has evolved into the amazing quality of care that we receive today.
And here at Liverpool Women’s we are also looking forward to the future - a future in which the care that we provide, the way that we provide it, and the facilities we provide it from will keep evolving.
We might not see flying cars in our skies just yet, but who would have thought 25 years ago that one day you would not only be able to use a mobile phone to call people, but also shop online, play games, keep in touch with friends and family on the other side of the world, and take as many photographs and videos as you want!
The winners will be announced at our Annual Members Meeting on Saturday 13th October 2018.
There will be a complimentary 1940s style afternoon tea for all guests, and there will also be something special planned on the day which is not to be missed for anyone interested in time travel!
Entry Rules & Conditions
There will be three categories for this competition each with a prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The categories are:
- 4 - 7 year olds
- 8 - 11 year olds
- 12 - 15 year olds
All you that is needed is creativity to show us what you think a Liverpool Women’s would look like in the future - it can be as imaginative as you want, but make sure that you think about things that will help people who are in a hospital in the future.
When will the winners be announced?
Everyone who enters the competition is invited to attend Liverpool Women’s on the day of our Annual Members Meeting event along with their friends and family, on Saturday 13th October (from 11 – 2.30pm) where the winners and runners up will be announced.
The deadline for entries is Friday 28th September 2018.
