Where we work

We are very much part of the fabric of the local community. Each year our Trust, a professional team of 1,400 people, takes care of more than 50,000 patients from Liverpool, the surrounding areas and across the UK. As well as delivering care within the hospital we work in the heart of the community, providing care for patients at various clinics across the city.

Hospital based care

Our main hospital, a modern landmark building, is located on Crown Street in Toxteth and it is here that we deliver around 8,500 babies and perform some 10,000 gynaecological procedures each year.

We also provide a range of services from the Aintree Centre for Women’s Health which is based at Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our services, provided from Aintree, include antenatal and booking clinics, fetal medicine clinics and a full range of gynaecology outpatient services including consultation, diagnostics and treatment.

It is easy to find us, by car or public transport.

Community based care

One of our main aims is to deliver effective healthcare within the community that meets the needs of patients. These are the community clinics we run and the services we provide at each one.
