- Qualified in Egypt and trained in UK. Obtained MRCOG in 1994. Completed research and obtained MD qualification in Sheffield in 1999. Completed my SpR training in Glasgow and subsequently within the Oxford Region. I have been a consultant since 2001 initially in Northampton (for 2 years) where I was also the Audit Lead. Also, worked as consultant in Middlesex, Sheffield, Bradford, Huddersfield/Halifax and Blackpool. Became a Fellow of the RCOG in 2007, which is the year when I also joined the Liverpool Women’s NHS Foundation Trust. My job in Liverpool is combined obstetrics and gynaecology with special interest in pelvic floor surgery/urogynaecology.
