- Background:
- I was appointed a Subspecialist Consultant in Gynaecological Surgery and Oncology in 2011. My main area of interest and clinical work is therefore providing the surgical expertise in management of patients with gynaecological malignancies. I also provide a specialist clinic for patients with complex benign pelvic pathology. I am the clinical lead of the second largest colposcopy service in the Northwest region and also provide a tertiary referral service for complex cases in this area.
Whilst balancing a busy family life, I remain dedicated to improving the care for all gynaecological patients whom I encounter. I am committed to improving the experience and outcome of oncology patients, as well as improving the experience of colposcopy patients to ensure that NHS Cervical Screening can be as successful as possible within our region.
