A thousand thank-you's to everybody

It has been a busy few weeks at Liverpool Women's. I would just like to reiterate again that there is no threat to the services delivered by Liverpool Women's Hospital. Please visit our website or follow us on Facebook and Twitter for regular updates.

We recently held our 'Dedication to Excellence' awards evening. Our staff demonstrated yet again how amazing they are. I was proud of each and every one of you.

I am sure many of you have been watching our amazing staff and families on One Born Every Minute. I am very proud of each and every member of staff who agreed to be filmed as they go about their very important work. They are stars and a massive thank-you to all our families who agreed to take part. If you have missed some of the series and would like to catch up you can here.

Our Midwifery Led-Unit refurbishment is almost complete; we are excited to see how it will look.

Each year we hold a memorial service for all our patients and their families who have lost a baby.  The service which usually takes place in May will this year be held on the 15th October 2015 to mark 'Baby Loss Awareness Day'. We will release more details to you when they are known.

Following the CQC inspection in February 2015 we have now received our draft CQC report which we are considering for factual accuracy. We will share the report with you when it has been published by the CQC.

A massive thank-you once again to our staff who work so hard to provide care to our patients and their families.
